Lewisham Bloggers’ Meet Up (2)

Lewisham Blog Meet-upIt’s been almost 6 months since the first Lewisham bloggers’ meet-up and seeing as it went down so well last time I’m now organising the next one.

The provisional date is 20 April (its a Friday), and if you’d like to come – or you think you know someone who should be invited – then let me know either in the comments or over at Upcoming.

At the moment I’m suggesting we stick with The Jolly Farmers as our venue, but if you think there’s a good reason to change or you fancy a different spot then do let me know.

BTW, I take a very liberal view about what constitutes a Lewisham blogger – and where Lewisham begins and ends – and the order of the day is the more the merrier as far as I’m concerned.

About Andrew Brown

I live in Lewisham, South East London, and spent 9 years as a Labour councillor in the borough between 1997 and 2006.

  16. Jens Winton says:

I am working that night so I’m afraid it’s a no from me. And sorry also that my blog’s been a little dormant these days – am quite busy with “Bring Back Democracy” in Bellingham and branch building in general.

Jens Winton – Chairman UKIP Lewisham

  17. andrewkbrown says:

Not a problem Jens. Glad to see that “Bring Back Democracy” has quote marks around it!

  18. kate says:

Hey jens , i was going to post about your dissapearance. ;-) shame you wont be able to make it on friday.

  19. Jens Winton says:

    Hi Kate,

I am pleased to see you’re getting a name for yourself these days!

I miss not being able to post on my blog as often as I did but it has been real hectic of late. I hope to be able to soon share what we’ve been up to with the BBD campaign.

Some day, I will treat my blog good (now where have I heard something like that before…?)

  20. Howard says:

I’m up for giving this one a go, if I’m not too recent a convert to being a brockley blogger…

  21. andrewkbrown says:

You’ll be most welcome Howard. Loved your post about the undead of Hilly Fields.

  22. Wulf says:

I’m looking forward to Friday – I’ve also posted a note about it on the Hither Green discussion forum to bring it to a few more people’s attention.

What time will proceedings kick off?

  23. andrewkbrown says:

I’ll be there from 8pm. Looking forward to meeting you Wulf.
