The Police is filming people in the street and today Apaches helicopters were flying low over the market. Are these two events related apart for both taking place around (and above) Lewisham Centre?
How do we avoid war-time-police-state-anxiety-syndrome?
No doubt its all a plot by the New World Order or Nu Labour or something…
I’d suggest we get ourselves a good foil hat and sit it out.
That might do. It will also make it easier to recognize people that you can trust.
Exactly so!
LOL you lot are mad…. i will put my foil hat on order.
Enjoyed the ‘Council are crap’ rant, just wish they’d be a bit more ’specific’! Anyway, it’s all been ‘arms-lengthed’ now, so why are they still blaming the council
mmm a little while ago someone who is working at arms length with the council made some interesting comments to me about housing in Lewisham in particular the attitude of some staff. I think the AMLO although agreed is still in negotiations…hence a reason for this e-mail explaining why there was a backlog of housing casework?
James Ringwood, Service Review Manager
“The current issues we are experiencing are staff shortages for some time in building services and now within our team, IT problems, large increase in volumne casework and complaints, housing managemnt changes across the borough with structures still to be finalised and budgetary issues with structural cases.”
