Robert has started the discussion and for the moment it looks like the next Lewisham Bloggers meet up will be on 7th March at either the Amersham Arms or Royal Albert.
If you’re on Facebook you can sign up – or see who else is coming – here.
If you’re not a Facebooker then drop a comment in here so we have a rough idea of numbers, and can get excited about who we can expect to meet.
If and as things change I’ll keep you updated.
Is the Royal Albert on lewisham way?
Is this invitation open to the world of Lewisham-based bloggers?
I am a blogger, from Lewisham (mainly Catford)
AND I’m linked on The Man from Catford’s blog.
Eagerly waiting your response
Still a Facebook virgin, so I’ll comment here! These are some very radical pub suggestions – rotating around the borough, very daring. I’d vote for the Albert too – much gentler than the Amersham. My Paradise Bar memories don’t stretch as far back as Kate Bush or as far forward as Art Brut. I remember a very scary drum and bass night in the mid-1990s, lots of very laid-back jazz, and some cool township jive during Black History Month one year.
I’m not sure if I’ll be in London on 7th March, but if I am, I’ll come along.

My vote is for the Royal Albert. I had a birthday drink at the Amersham, it was fun but much too noisy for conversation. Aslo Kate Bush played at the Albert, as did The Long Blondes and Art Brut when it was the Paradise Bar.
