it is an interesting story on Sues blog, and it’s appeal is only added to by the statement “Unbelievable, but, this, it would seem, is what often happens when the legal teams of private consortiums run rings around the Council’s lawyers.” because this is exactly the case with the foolish liaison the Council has with developers both specifically and generally, and this is the reason that Lewisham will become a dumping ground for avaricious developers – the Council just can’t handle it!

Thanks for the links and hope you had a good holiday. I didn’t claim that I’d be able to solve the problem of aviation noise (though I have a few suggestions!), just wanted to find out how widespread the problem was for local residents. That said, if the government decides to proceed with airport expansion, I hereby pledge that I will be taking direct action!
