Return

So I’m back from my holiday, what did I miss?

I am pleased to see that the Inspector has a new home (v swish too); that Kate has some resolutions; Sue is interested in alternatives to virtual (ie unfunded) CCTV; the recycling of Christmas tree’s in Lee was a success; that people are happier than ever with street cleanliness; that Adam thinks you want to know more about the secret me; and that the weather has been foggy.

As for me I saw the last of a few Australian cricketers (and maybe some English ones as well):
Glen McGrath, SCG, 5 Jan 2007

And listened to the choir sing their “praises”:

As for me, I learnt to wear a big hat and that beach cricket is more fun than watching England go down 5-0:

    Hi Andrew,

Welcome back! Not really the luckiest day of the series to pick, but at least you managed to see some play – it was touch and go for a while.

Well, given the way England played it was at least short, which meant the 5-0 chant from the bloke at the back of our bit of the stand didn’t grate too much!

Welcome back Andrew. Happy new year.

  4. andrewkbrown says:

Ta Bob. Happy New Year to you as well.

  5. Skuds says:

At least it was only 5-nil. Us West Ham supporters would love to only lose 5-nil!

Yes, I saw that your change of manager hasn’t yet done much for the results… But there is something about loosing to the Aussies in Australia that brings out the worst in an Englishman (and for that matter it seems to do the same for some Australians as well).
