Strange and Interesting

An evening spent at my old stomping ground in the Houses of Parliament as a guest of Tom (thanks Tom!).

I got to meet all sorts of people, not least a General Secretary of a trades union, a candidate for the deputy leadership of my party, the editor of Tribune, and a fellow Labour blogger. And got to see a few faces that I recognised. They were there to support a Private Member’s Bill being introduced today.

Why was I there?

To try to ensure that Andrew doesn’t end up out of pocket. And to start to plan the next steps for how those of us who are Labour bloggers can keep on talking about what’s important to us.

Oh, the strange bit was meeting Lembit and his Cheeky Girl in the chamber of the House of Commons.

About Andrew Brown

I live in Lewisham, South East London, and spent 9 years as a Labour councillor in the borough between 1997 and 2006.
