Kate’s petition

Kate, as I’m sure many of you will have already realised, doesn’t do things by halves.

Not for her a petition to Lewisham to get herself rehoused, no it has to be to the Prime Minister. And when the first was rejected she dusted herself off and (with a little advice) went at it again and this time she’s been successful.

Kate explains what she’s after on the Downing Street website like this:

Overcrowding is blighting the lives of many people in this country, the current statutory standard is very outdated and does not reflect modern times. My familly live in Lewisham where the problems are severe. If the standard were to be updated and funding made available larger properties could be built and others adapted to meet peoples needs.

I’ve signed, why don’t you?
