Curiouser and Curiouser

The News Shopper follow up their story on Cllr Kentman:

A LIBERAL Democrat councillor who was expelled from the party has denied all the allegations made against her.Cllr Sera Kentman, who is currently the subject of a police investigation, says she was not thrown out of the Liberal Democrat party, as the leader of the group had said on March 8.

Instead she claims she decided not to renew her membership as she had concerns about being a victim of racism within the party, which she claims does not encourage ethnic minority recruitment.

Mark Morris denies the claim of racism, in the strongest terms, at the foot of the article.

My friends on Labour Group tell me that Councillor Kentman doesn’t come across as someone who’s likely to resign her seat on the council voluntarily.

Lewisham does have a history of long last stands…

Then there was Theophilus William Willams who was Lewisham’s first Mayor of Lewisham. Who has been described as an unscrupulous adventurer, also a swindler and embezzler.
