What a difference a little company can make

If you eat with one other person you’ll consume about 35% more than if you eat on your own.  If you eat in a group of 4 you’ll much your way through an extra 75%; and if your group is larger than 7 you’ll probably put away 96% more food.

I’m not convinced. When Big Boy was away the weekend before last, I put away 50% more food than if he’d been eating with me (because I cooked for two and ate it all!).
