    Isn’t it. We’re lucky with some of the insect wildlife in this bit of London

    I remember being told that there are spiders on Blackheath that had been thought to be extinct until they were found there a few years ago.

    And of course there are a fair few stag beetles as well.

  3. Not that there’s anything wrong with books of course — in fact Lewisham seems to be one library service that doesn’t consider print and paper to be an embarrasment — some see books like the embarrassing elderly relative.

    Having said that an IT upgrade on the public terminals certainly wouldn’t go amiss…
