Lewisham Community Police Consultative Group AGM

David has been kind enough to let me know about the forthcoming meeting of the consultative group which is taking place on Tuesday next week (4th December).

The evening starts at 6:00pm with refreshments, the meeting proper will start at 7 o’clock and should finish at 9:30pm and is being held at the Civic Suite in Lewisham Town Hall.

I was, briefly, one of the councillors on the consultative group, which offers the chance for anyone interested in how we are policed as a community a chance to engage with senior officers and to raise concerns and pass on praise.

These days with increasing opportunities to understand the work of local safer neighbourhood teams I suspect the borough wide group is a very good opportunity to hold the borough commander and his colleagues to account.

If you are on Facebook you can let David know you are going to be attending here.
