In defence of the unpopular

This year could be the year where people start defending stuff that’s not all that popular in the public mind.

Evidence comes from Hopi, who sets about singing the praise of the whip, Morgan on The Campaign Company blog, who puts up a good defense of negative campaigning, and Julian Baggini has a go at defending popularism and explaining why progressives aren’t always liberals.
