England vs Switzerland

I won’t say too much about the game, which was pretty dire for long periods, but the stadium is impressive, even if the burgers are too expensive.

  1. Reidski says:

Hilarious the way the fans were booing after about 20 minutes. Not sure that the England supporters can appreciate anything but a long hoof up the park from the defence.

  2. Andrew Brown says:

I think we like passing, but usually want that to lead to an attack, rather than just to keep the ball.

In any case the booing seemed to be aimed at the poverty of movement and passing – particularly frustrating were Wes Brown and Ashley Cole who didn’t have good games – and the fact that the players kept on bumping into each other when they got into attacking positions.

  3. Perhaps Ashley Cole has other things on his mind?

    Bring back Becks.
