OPERATION TRIDENT COMMUNITY INFORMATION EVENING

METROPOLITAN POLICE SERVICE – OPERATION TRIDENT COMMUNITY INFORMATION EVENING ON WEDNESDAY 27 FEBRUARY 2008 7.00PM TO 8.30PM AT THE BREAKSPEAR HALL LEWISHAM COLLEGE LEWISHAM WAY BROCKLEY LONDON SE4 1UT

Operation Trident is the Specialist Unit at New Scotland Yard that investigates gun and drug related crime in London. They will provided information about real cases that have been solved and inform the community about ‘Special Measures’ they have available to support witnesses. There will also be a contribution from the Lewisham Police and a community contribution. Lewisham Council Crime Reduction Service and Supporting People will have a representative at the evening.

If you live, work or visit the borough of Lewisham or surrounding boroughs, you are welcome to attend the event.

Lewisham Community Police Consultative Group who held a Special Conference last year ‘A Community Call to Action’ to look for solutions on gun related and other violent crime are encouraging the community to attend the Operation Trident Community Information Evening.
