    I see the Education Select Committee motion/suggestion/request re the council not applying to run the new SEN school is about to come to the Mayor’s attention.

    I’m wondering why there was a public and press exclusion on item 14, particularly including the Loampit Vale development (I can read what was written there, obviously) – it was only lodged as a recommendation, but presumably a recommendation in council-speak is ‘we’re going to do it anyway’

    ah well . . .

    It will be because there’s information that needs a decision that can’t currently be put in the public domain, usually commercially sensitive information.
