Looks like the work that the scrutiny committees have been doing during the year has come to its conclusions and there’s a few recommendations for the Mayor and Cabinet to chew over.
Also interesting is the officer response to the alternatives to individual car use; they’re suggesting a wait and see approach to as to whether to go for 20 mph on Lewisham’s roads until it’s clearer where the new Mayor for London (or whoever he’s delegated that particular set of decisions to) thinks.
The other big ticket items are the carbon reduction strategy – which I have to admit I’ve not had the chance to read it, but I do know that’s something that Steve is personally and politically committed to – and the community assets paper – which follows that review that Barry Quirk did for the government.
