Lewisham Round Up

This week Wavelengths pool reopened, Sir Steve was first in, but was shortly followed by The Dame, who liked the pool, but not the opening hours.

Towards the other end of the borough the Forest Hill Society report on the listing of Louise House, which they suggest puts the redevelopment of the pool back to square one.

The Inspector, meanwhile, has been to the Jolly Farmers pub and says, “This is what happens when a pub dies.”  Looks like we might not be going back there for our next bloggers meet up.

Paul Bentley is having email problems.  The Council are having legal problems. Ladywell residents are planning for a Christmas market.  And apparently Blackheath is “a little oasis of posh“.

Caroline has been exploring the murky depths of the criminal justice system of an earlier age and Deptford’s most famous murder.

Transpontine says expect to see the sharpest Mohicans as well as dogs on strings in New Cross and Deptford this weekend.
