Alcohol and Lewisham

These two charts come from recently released data about alcohol related harms in the borough.  The footnotes say that these figures don’t include attendance at A&E and they are measuring the number per 100,000 of population.

But while we’re damaging ourselves we don’t appear to be fighting when we’re doing it, or perhaps as Sir Denis O’Connor recently suggested the police are just leaving us to get on with it.

More data here.

    Yay, bar charts!

    I always feel there’s little a bar chart can’t present well. 🙂

But yes, a line might have been nice here, then whoever prepared the charts could have put males and females on the same one.
