One of the more evangelical bloggers I’ve met suggested to me that I’d know “the power of blogging” when I used my blog to ask for something and people responded.
I wasn’t quite ready to fall flat on my face in public so I’ve been doing some prep work (via email) and it looks like there are enough people interested to be able to announce a Lewisham blog meet-up.
We’re not thinking of anything too extravagant, just a pint (or two) and some chit-chat. We’ll be in the Jolly Farmers from 8:30 on 18 November.
If you haven’t had an email from me that probably means I don’t have your email address (or the one you leave here isn’t your real one, naughty!) it doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t be welcome.

thanks for mentioning it, dont think i can make it as i dont go out other than to take my kids to school and shopping.

On second thoughts, having seen your comment on MMR I probably don’t have a clue what your life is like.
hopefully i will get some of what life is like across on lewisham sucks. so called for two reasons. 1, i kind of think it does. 2, would you have looked at it if it was called kates life? i cant believe i havent tried this before.
We’ll have to keep arguing about your first point (in a good natured way I hope) and you’ve got a point about the second one.

Erm… what do Lewisham bloggers look like? I’m still not sure if I’ll make it at all (if I do, it will be at the start of the evening) but how would I recognise who else is there to talk about local blogging?
